11x14" Acrylic on paper. Recently listened to the audiobook of A Wrinkle in Time, one of my favorite books as a child. I was inspired to do this painting of two of the main characters, Meg Murray and Mrs Whatsit. If you don't know the book, it's a planet hopping adventure using a concept called the "tesseract". The move through space like pushing through a curtain. Released in 1962, I loosely set my painting in the 1950s
